KEITH GIVES FANS A BONUS

Most high-energy country or rock acts throw guitar picks or drum sticks to their audience members at some point in their shows.

But when Keith Urban closed his acclaimed Alive in '06 tour in Tallahassee, Florida, recently, he want way beyond that. While Keith was playing Billy Joel's "You May Be Right" as part of his five-song encore, his crew came onstage and literally started sawing off pieces of the set to give away to the audience! And that's what they did, a piece at a time. Keith commented, "I figured the shirt off my back wasn't enough, so we took a novel approach." By the time Keith was through his musical set, the crew had made it most of the way through his other set—and the fans loved it.
