Keith Gets His Star

Keith Urban was honored with his own star on the “Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame” at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., Aug. 12

“I’m especially grateful to be back here at Mohegan Sun,” Keith told the fans who assembled at the casino. “We had to cancel a show here last year, so we’re very grateful to be back playing again.” Keith was scheduled to play the Mohegan Sun the day he went into rehab for alcohol problems in October of 2006. He thanked the fans who had supported him the past several months, especially those who had traveled to the 2006 show. “I love touring and playing music and you have allowed me to keep doing that,” Keith said. Other artists who have received a Walk of Fame star from the casino are Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts and Bon Jovi.
