Kanye Apologizes on Leno

Rap star Kanye West appeared on the premiere of The Jay Leno Show, Monday night, Sept. 14, and delivered an apology to Taylor Swift for his outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye interrupted Taylor as she was making her acceptance speech for Best Female Video, "You Belong With Me," at the awards show, Sept. 13. The singer told the Leno audience that he knew immediately that his behavior was wrong and apologized for taking away Taylor's moment in the spotlight. "It was just very rude, period," Kanye said. "I'd like to apologize to her in person." He added that he was going to take time and reflect on his behavior. "I have to analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life and improve," he said.
