Kacey Musgraves has been garnering a lot of attention with her honest and authentic country music. And not just from new fans and music critics, but from her peers across the musical board. One of them being Katy Perry, who is taking it up a notch by bringing Kacey on the road with her for the North American leg of her Prismatic World Tour.

The pair have become quite friendly since meeting last year and have even written some songs together.

Katy shared the big news through her Twitter account, also revealing that Canada’s Tegan and Sara will be part of the run, which kicks off June 22 in Raleigh, N.C.
