Kacey Musgraves Disses Songs About Trucks

“Anyone singing about trucks, in any form, in any song, anywhere, literally just stop—nobody cares!” she says.

Think she’s just blowin’ smoke?

Kacey Musgraves continues to position herself as an edgy alternative country artist, this time by declaring that she’s over songs about trucks. And Kacey doesn’t leave herself much wiggle room.

“Anyone singing about trucks, in any form, in any song, anywhere, literally just stop—nobody cares!” Kacey tells British GQ.

Yikes!

And here’s what makes that declaration even more uncomfortable: Starting in November, Kacey opens for Lady Antebellum along with Kip Moore, who happens to have a giant hit with “Somethin’ ’Bout a Truck.”

Awkward . . .
