Kacey Musgraves Celebrates New Career Milestones

The hits—and the bling—keep coming for Kacey.

2014 has been a banner year for singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves. With her debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, Kacey became the first female artist in eight years to have her debut album go gold. But that’s not all—Kacey also had two songs off of the album reach gold and platinum, “Follow Your Arrow” and “Merry Go ’Round,” respectively. 

Immediately following her set Saturday night on the Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour, Kacey received plaques celebrating two RIAA gold certifications and one platinum from her label, Mercury Nashville, backstage at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky.

There are still more than 130 days left in the year, so there’s no telling what the Grammy-winning artist will do next.
