It started out just a little bit naughty. Ellen DeGeneres, with Tim McGraw as a guest, showed her audience a picture of a shirtless Tim with the waistband of Ellen DeGeneres boxers sticking out of his jogging shorts.

Ellen then presented Tim with a box of the undergarments.

"Are you wearing them right now?" Ellen asked.

"Uh, no," Tim said.

"Why not?" she asked.

"'Cause, uh, these pants are too tight to put underwear on," Tim said, laughing.

And the crowd went wild.

"Now I've really embarrassed my daughters," he said. "You caught me off guard. What can I say?"

"No, it's always good to be honest around here," Ellen replied.
