Josh Turner Working on Fifth Album

He’s penned “seven or eight songs” for the album.

Josh Turner is hard at work recording his fifth album, the follow-up to 2010's Haywire. “I started writing [for the album] around New Year's. We put it together pretty quickly. I’m excited about it,” Josh tells Countryweekly.com. “The tracking part is done. I have to go in and sing everything.”

While the music making process is underway, Josh says he's completed the photo shoot for the album as well. "It’s the best photo shoot I’ve done yet, as far as packaging for the album."

Though the album is still being recorded, fans can expect to hear more of Josh's own lyrics on this album. The singer says he's had a hand in writing "probably seven or eight songs" for the project.
