Josh Turner Is Country Rep to Annual Capitol Fourth Concert

He is set to sing with Idol champ Phillip Phillips, Matthew Broderick and Kool & the Gang.

OK, no one really likes to work on the Fourth of July, but Josh Turner has landed himself a capitol gig.

Josh will be the country guy for PBS's A Capitol Fourth concert in Washington, D.C.

Josh will be joined by American Idol champ Phillip Phillips, actor Matthew Broderick and Kool & the Gang.

The event will be emceed by Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron—so we just hope that Josh isn't the first one voted off the special.
