Heartbreaking story – Josh Turner’s purebred bloodhound, Moses, a star of several publicity shots and the music vid for “Everything Is Fine,” has died.

Moses succumbed to kidney disease, Josh said in a press release.

“Moses was a special part of our family. It’s been a very hard time for us. He was the best dog there ever was,” Josh said.

Josh and his wife, Jennifer, even considered Moses their first “child,” as they got the pooch right after the couple married seven years ago. And Moses was a playmate for the couple’s first two kids, Hampton and Colby.

Moses also stole the show when he made an appearance at Josh’s fan club party two years ago.

Moses was 6 years old.
