Josh Thompson Scores His First Sellout

Josh Thompson has been helping put beer on the table in many honky-tonks and clubs throughout the country, but he just scored his first sold-out gig since signing his record deal with Columbia Nashville.

During a quick break as opener on the Brad Paisley H2O World Tour, Josh oversold the 904-capacity club The Cabooze in Minneapolis this past weekend. Club owners say only two other acts have sold out the venue.

The rowdy crowd loved it, insisting on an encore at the end of his set.

Josh tried a new song he had just written a couple weeks prior, and, his publicists say, the crowd was singing along to the chorus by the end of the song.
