JOSH HONORED FOR NO. 1 HIT

Josh Turner celebrated his latest No. 1 single, “Would You Go With Me,” at a party in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 15.

It marked the second straight chart-topper for Josh, following “Your Man,” the title track from his platinum-selling CD. After the event, Josh met with members of the music industry media and reflected on his big year. “It’s been incredible to have two No. 1s,” said Josh. “It’s brought my career to a different level.” When asked what effect No. 1 songs have on a career, Josh noted, “It attracts respect and attention. You get to play better venues and more opportunities come your way. It makes an artist’s life that much easier.” One of those “better venues” includes the massive Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 2007—Josh found out that he’ll be one of the headliners.
