The year is shaping up to be quite the memorable one for Dixon, Calif., native Jon Pardi. In addition to scoring his very first Top 10 single with “Up All Night” and releasing his self-titled debut album, Jon has been summoned by Dierks Bentley to be one of his opening acts on his forthcoming Riser Tour.

The trek will kick off in May, and will also feature rising stars Chase Rise and Chris Young. Luckily for Jon, he already has a good relationship with all the artists, which can only mean the months spent on the road together will be quite the party.

“I’m very excited and proud to be on the tour,” Jon tells Country Weekly. “I ran into Chris Young the other night and I’ve hung out with Chase recently, and we were talking about how much fun it’s going to be. We’re all excited.”

One more perk about the tour? There is a West Coast run, which means Jon will have plenty of friends and family from back home coming out to the shows. “I’m pretty excited about that part, too,” he says, beaming.
