JOHNNY CASH TO RECEIVE FOUNDERS AWARD

Tonight, at the 32nd annual Conference of the International Entertainment Buyers Association, Johnny Cash will be presented with The Founders Award.

"We took a lot of pride in the selection of Johnny Cash as this year's recipient," says Patti Burgart, executive director of the IEBA. "His career has transcended formats, decades and musical style changes to make him a true legend in the entertainment industry."

Cash's longtime friend, Merle Kilgore will present Cash with the award at the Founders Dinner. Kilgore also wrote Cash's hit "Ring of Fire."
