JOHNNY CASH & DAVE MATTHEWS DUET IN THE WORKS
Word has it that veteran country singer Johnny Cash is pairing up with rock singer Dave Matthews.
The song, called "For You," may be included on the soundtrack to the movie "We Were Soldiers," starring Mel Gibson.
Cash has already finished the guitar tracks and vocals from his home in Jamaica, and the next step is for Matthews to add his vocals.
Both the film and the soundtrack for "We Were Soldiers" are scheduled for release on March 1st.
Cash and Matthews met in 1999 when Matthews appeared on "An All-Star Tribute to Johnny Cash."
