JOHNNY CASH TO COLLABORATE ON MOVIE OF HIS LIFE

A movie on the life of legend Johnny Cash, entitled "Walk the Line," is scheduled to feature Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon as Johnny and June Carter Cash.

The film is described as "a musical biopic, centering on snapshots of Cash's life," with part of the focus on Johnny's younger years and a look into his drug problems.

The director of the film, James Mangold, will collaborate with Johnny and June for the project and producers have gotten permission to use some of Johnny's original music for the film.
