The former late-night TV talk show host “rocked hats every episode” on upcoming Celebrity Apprentice.

John Rich is changing America one celebrity at a time. John, as you may remember, won the last season of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice.

And that has inspired how one of this season's contestants approached his time on the show. Did former late-night TV talk-show host Arsenio Hall copy John's strategies? His work ethic?

Nope. But Arsenio, because of John, decided to wear hats on Donald Trump's show.

"Usually on television they say, 'Hey, don't wear hats because it's bad for lighting,'" Arsenio tells CMT Radio Live's Cody Alan. "[But] I'm looking and saying, 'John Rich is rocking these lids.' When I finally got the call, I'm like, 'Guess what? It's time to be John Rich. I'm going to be the John Rich of the ghetto.' So I rocked hats every episode."

The new season starts Sunday night (Feb. 19).
