JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY DUI CHARGE
John Michael Montgomery was arrested early this morning, Feb. 16, in Lexington, Ky., on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and possession of a controlled drug.
John Michael was also charged with two counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon, disregarding a traffic control device and improper turning, according to Lexington jail spokesman Darin Kelly. The arrest took place around 3 a.m. ET on the south side of Lexington, a few miles from John Michael's restaurant, John Michael's Hometown Bar & Grill, which is located in nearby Nicholasville. It is not known, however, if John Michael was at the restaurant prior to his arrest. Lexington TV station WLEX reports that John Michael's case will go before the court this afternoon. More will be known about John Michael's arrest later today.
