Whoa! Did you catch Celebrity Apprentice last night?

The guys' team came up with a wild idea for a conservative communications company. To promote a videophone, they created a scenario involving a guy introducing his fiancée to his parents, but the fiancée is a fiancé—a dude.

John Rich objected in the meeting: “A man married to another man, while it’s a big shocker on the thing, are they gonna go, ‘But a lot of our audience is not gonna wanna buy the phone because of that'?"

None of his teammates really reacted to that feedback, so John took his case directly to the camera: “I’m concerned [telecommunications company] ACN might think it’s funny and at the same time go, ‘But we can’t really use it as a universal pitch for our company.’”

John kept that opinion to himself in the board room when Donald Trump asked if any of the guys thought the commercial went too far.

Good thing: The men’s team won, and John survived another week on the show.
