John Gets Help from Some Buddies

John Rich brought in some heavy hitters for the shoot of his new video for “Shuttin’ Detroit Down.”

As he prepares for Tuesday’s release of his solo album, Son Of a Preacher Man, John’s also finalizing the video for his current single, “Shuttin' Detroit Down.” He enlisted the aid of some very strong acting talent to help him on the project—namely Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke and country music legend Kris Kristofferson. John describes the duo as “two of the all-time great American artists in what they do. . . . It is a humbling experience working with these guys. I am way out of my league.”
