Joe Nichols Says “Yeah” to New Video

Joe Nichols had a ball filming the video for his latest single, “Yeah,”—from the album Crickets—and he lets you in on some of the fun in the May 12 issue of Country Weekly. The video humorously plays off the title, Joe points out.

On a back wall inside the studio, the word “Yeah” was constructed in big, bold letters. “Every time I sing the word ’Yeah,’ which is quite a few, the letters light up,” Joe says. “It’s a pretty conspicuous advertisement of the song, but that was kind of the idea.” Joe plays the role of storyteller in the video as three couples act out the story line.

He feels that the clip captures the summertime vibe of the single. “It’s very straightforward and fun, which I think is what it needed to be,” Joe says. “I think people will like it. It’s a cool, fun little story.”
