Joe Ely’s Lifetime Honor

Texas singer/songwriter Joe Ely has been named the winner of the Americana Music Association’s 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award for Performing.

Joe, who is also nominated for Artist of the Year, will receive the award Nov. 1 at the Ryman Auditorium during the organization’s sixth annual Honors and Awards Show. Recipients of the group’s other lifetime achievement awards will be announced between now and October.
