JO DEE SEEKS HELP

Jo Dee Messina checked herself into a rehab center in Utah a few weeks ago to get help for alcoholism. The singer, who's battled bankruptcy, relationship problems and struggles with her weight, is still living in a cabin near the facility and receiving outpatient care. In a statement to Billboard magazine, Mike Curb, chairman of Jo Dee's label, Curb Records, says, "Jo Dee has more drive and passion than anyone I can think of and she's dealt with several challenges in the past. I'm sure she will draw upon the same strength and determination that sustained [her] before to get through this difficult period. She's a gifted performer and nothing is going to stop her from pursuing her music."
