Jo Dee Messina Parts Ways With Curb Records

Most everyone looks at Jan. 1 as a fresh start, including Jo Dee Messina. Her contract with longtime label home Curb Records has ended and she is busy writing and working on a new album for the new year.

On her website, Jo Dee writes, "I am so excited to able to start fresh. I have so much music to share. Getting it out there to the fans is going to be such a blessing." Jo Dee has already signed with new management and booking, and has show dates booked into 2013.

Jo Dee last topped the charts in 2005 with "My Give a Damn's Busted." In addition to continuing a busy tour schedule, she also maintains a blog about parenting at fumblingmom.tumblr.com.
