Jo Dee Messina Gives Birth to Son

Jonah Christopher joins brother Noah.

Jo Dee Messina and her husband, Chris Deffenbaugh, welcomed their second son to the family on Wednesday (Jan. 11).

Six-pound, 13-ounce Jonah Christopher Deffenbaugh was born at 2:43 p.m. CT at a Nashville-area hospital and joins 3-year-old brother Noah.

“Noah couldn’t wait to hold his little brother. He’s so good with him," Jo Dee reported via a statement. "God has blessed us so much.”

Jo Dee and Chris were married in 2007 and Noah was born on Jan. 12, 2009, almost exactly three years prior to Jonah.

Jo Dee recently began writing a blog, The Fumbling Mom.
