JO DEE MESSINA – FUNDRAISING MACHINE

Jo Dee Messina has been, and continues to be very busy lately. Her "Greatest Hits" collection is out in stores and was at the top of the country charts last week.

Jo Dee will also be traveling to three different cities for three different fundraisers in the coming week, and she is looking forward to it.

"I think the best part of my career is being able to help others," she says. "While it will be a week of planes, trains and automobiles, the fact that it's all for such great causes makes it so worthwhile. Besides, the folks whose hard work put these benefits together are the real heroes."

Speaking of the fundraisers, here is a schedule of Jo Dee's upcoming appearances and performances this week:

On Wednesday, Jo Dee will perform in "Restore America: A Salute To Preservation," which is being taped for HGTV to air on July 4th. HGTV and the National Trust for Historic Preservation are teaming up for this effort.

Thursday brings Jo Dee to Nashville for the MDA Benefit Bash and auction to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy.

On Friday, you can catch Jo Dee at her annual fan club luncheon and party for Fan Fair.

Saturday Jo Dee will perform in Las Vegas in a benefit for the Lili Claire Foundation and the UNLV Life Skills Center at the Ritz Carlton Lake Las Vegas. Lili Claire is a nonprofit organization that aids those with neurogenetic birth defects and provides their loved ones with resources and assistance.

Sunday, Jo Dee returns to Nashville to perform at Fan Fair at the Nashville Coliseum.
