A rumor has been going around that Jo Dee Messina's choreographer is the same one as Michael Jackson's, but it just is not true.

The story goes like this: One day, while on tour with the Judds, Jo Dee met the choreographer for Wynona's dancers. Turns out he also choreographed on Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation Tour. She did not, however, take any lessons from him. How this got misinterpreted and convoluted into the statement that Jo Dee was working with Michael Jackson's choreographer we do not know.

And what does Jo Dee say on the matter?

"I just go out there on stage and just joke around and just kind of get down and boogie and you know, just do some goofy moves. I've always danced, but that rumor was not true."
