Jimmy Dean Escapes House Fire
Country music legend and business executive Jimmy Dean and his wife Donna Meade Dean escaped a fire at their home in Varina, Va., April 20.

The fire was reported at 8:05 p.m., Monday, April 20, and was brought under control several hours later. The blaze was reported to have caused extensive damage to the basement, first floor and attic of the home, but the cause of the fire has not been determined. Jimmy and Donna were outside the home when firefighters arrived. Jimmy is best known for his hit songs like "Big Bad John" and "P.T. 109" and as the founder of the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company, which makes a line of sausage and breakfast items.
