Jewel and husband Ty Murray are expecting their first child later this year. Jewel took to her Twitter to share the happy news this morning:
Yes, many of you guessed it—Im pregnant! Ty and I r so excited!
The couple tied the knot in 2008 in the Bahamas after being together for nearly 10 years. They met in 1999 at the Denver Rodeo and Stock Show. It looks like the Grammy-nominated singer and the nine-time world champion cowboy will have to make some room for a nursery on their 2,200-acre Texas ranch.
Jewel released her latest album, Sweet and Wild, in 2010, before embarking on the Star Light Café Tour with artists Kip Moore and Radney Foster last year.
