Jewel is helping raise awareness for domestic violence as Mary Kay’s “A Kiss for Country” spokesperson. ‘A Kiss for Country” enlists stars and celebrities who auction their lip prints and autographs on “Kiss Cards,” uniquely designed to “kiss domestic violence goodbye.” All of the proceeds benefit the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation programs, which are committed to ending domestic violence. Jewel put her lip print on one of the cards during the ceremony and also helped dedicate the newly landscaped grounds at the shelter. “I am honored to be part of this,” Jewel told Country Weekly. “I was aware of the campaign from last year when Martina McBride was involved in it. Mary Kay is really dedicated to ending the cycle of domestic violence.”
