Jewel’s Helpful Holiday Hints

Singer/songwriter teams with Hallmark Gold Crown Stores.

Singer/songwriter Jewel has teamed up with Hallmark in an online series that will offer families helpful hints on decorating and cooking for the holidays. Also involved in the project are David Tutera, host of the WE television series My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, and expert cook Jaden Hair, author of The Steamy Kitchen Cookbook.

Beginning on Thanksgiving and running through Christmas, fans can visit hallmark.com and Hallmark's Facebook page, to get video tips from Jewel, David and Jaden on decorating, gift wrapping, baking, entertaining and other topics.

"The focus is to try and help families by giving them easy and functional tips for the holidays," Jewel tells CountryWeekly.com. "These are practical things and not over the top. The focus is on making memories with your family.

"I love to bake and cook," she adds, "so this was fun for me."

Jewel will share a recipe for her pumpkin cake in the Dec. 26 issue of Country Weekly, on sale Dec. 19.
