Jewel, who is expecting a child this summer, is doing well after being involved in a minor auto accident in Stephenville, Texas, Friday, March 11, according to a spokeswoman.

The Texas Department of Safety reported that Jewel was involved in a two-vehicle accident with Erath County commissioner Jim Pack, who was driving a fire department truck on his way to a grass fire. The truck struck Jewel's vehicle, but the singer was unharmed.

Jewel's spokeswoman says that she and the fetus appear to be fine after tests were run at a local hospital.

Jewel has even tweeted her reaction to seeing the photo of her car:

“Geez-i didn't really see the accident I was in til the paper yesterday. The fire truck def won http://twitpic.com/49fp81
