JESSICA SIMPSON STUMBLES AT DOLLY TRIBUTE

Pop singer Jessica Simpson caused a minor stir Sunday night, Dec. 3, when she stumbled over the lyrics to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” at the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Dolly in Washington, D.C.

Jessica, who was part of the musical tribute, appeared to lose her place during the song. When she finished, the singer said, “Dolly, you make me so nervous I can’t even sing the words right.” She then quickly left the stage. After the show, Jessica, a huge fan of Dolly, did the number again for the CBS broadcast, which will air Dec. 26.
