Jerry Reed Tribute

Nashville’s top musicians will get together at Music City club Douglas Corner, Monday night, Sept. 15, to pay tribute to the late Jerry Reed.

Jerry, the legendary artist and musician, died Sept. 1. Before his death, he noted that he did not want a star-packed “Nashville funeral,” which often feels more like a concert than a service. But some of Nashville’s best-known guitarists, including Brent Mason and Thom Bresh, decided to pay tribute to Jerry with this special show. Jerry’s grandson, Jerry Roe, will also sit in on drums for several numbers. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and there will be no cover charge, although organizers will be accepting donations to aid wounded veterans.
