Jerrod Niemann Performs at Contest Winner’s House

Country always stars love to get in touch with the fans, but Jerrod Niemann may have taken the idea to a whole new level.

Back in September, Jerrod launched his "Rock Your Room" sweepstakes to award one lucky winner a big bundle of Sony electronics and an exclusive live performance from Jerrod in his or her residence. Some 4,000 submissions later, Arizona State University student Catherine Willis was chosen as the winner.

Jerrod flew out to Arizona to spend time with Catherine and her friends, treating the group to a private concert at Catherine's house on Dec. 10. Along with the intimate musical performance, Catherine got a bunch of new electronic gear, including a Sony Bravia TV, a PlayStation Vita, a W Series Walkman and a portable iPod speaker.

Jerrod's Jägermeister Presents tour will wrap up on Jan. 11 in Chattanooga, Tenn., and his current single, "Only God Could Love You More," is scaling the charts.

Look for more on Jerrod and his life on the road in the Jan. 28 issue of Country Weekly, on stands Jan. 21.
