Jerrod Niemann believes that every child deserves the opportunity to explore and enjoy music. And Jerrod will be giving them that unique opportunity as he establishes his new nonprofit charity, Free the Music USA.

The organization is dedicated to collecting used instruments and giving them to children in need, and will make various donations to music-based charities throughout the year.

Free the Music USA is also partnering with Songs for Sound, a Nashville-based charity that assists the deaf by providing resources for cochlear implants and rehabilitation.

The two organizations are teaming up with the Academy of Country Music to give three recent implant recipients a trip to the 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards show in Las Vegas to meet Jerrod and hear him perform at the ACM Party for a Cause Festival.
