Jennifer Aniston revived talk that she'll play a country singer in a 1940s period piece about an all-female country band that formed in a Texas prison.

The famous ex-Friend told USA Today during a photo shoot in Mexico that The Goree Girls is about a group that was “sort of the Dixie Chicks of their time.”

But will the movie ever get made?

Talk of this film has been bouncing around for four or more years. At one point, E! Online even reported that Jennifer—like Gwyneth Paltrow in Country Strong—will do her own singing in the movie.

And the movie’s director said Aniston will learn to play Dobro for the role. Now that's country strong.
