Jeff Bridges Gets a Record Deal

Jeff Bridges landed an Oscar for his portrayal of a country singer in Crazy Heart. Now he's looking to add a Grammy too.Bridges has landed a deal with with EMI's Blue Note Records, mostly known for jazz music.He'll work with renowned producer—and longtime friend—T. Bone Burnett, who also worked on the soundtracks to Walk the Line and O Brother, Where Art Thou?The actor and the producer first met more than 30 years ago during filming of Heaven’s Gate.The album will include vocals from Rosanne Cash and Sam Phillips, his label has announced, but few other details were available.
