You read it here first, folks. Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts and his wife, Allison, have decided to name their daughter, due in January . . . drum roll, please . . . Madeline Leigh.

"Leigh is Ali's middle name and we finally settled on a [first] name that we both liked together," Jay tells Country Weekly.

Maddy, as she will be known, is the first child for Jay and Allison. The group's Gary LeVox and wife Tara have two daughters, Brittany and Brooklyn, and Joe Don Rooney and wife Tiffany have a son, Jagger, and a new daughter, Raquel Blue.

"I love kids," Jay says of the impending birth of his daughter. "I'm really, really close to my nephew and two nieces and I love kids so much. This is a part of my life I've wanted for some time and just had to wait a little longer to get there.

"I'm really excited and can't wait to kiss [her] face off," he adds with a glowing smile.
