Jason Says Things Are OK With Family After Bar Photos Were Posted

“The main thing is that me and my family are OK, and everything’s good there,” he says.

Jason Aldean says he and his wife of 11 years "are OK" after tmz.com posted pics of Jason cozying up to another woman in a bar.

"The main thing is that me and my family are OK, and everything's good there," Jason told CMT's Katie Cook.

The country star also said he appreciates the people who stood behind him during the incident.

""I mean, I really appreciate it, and it's just been a really unfortunate thing," he said. "Really embarrassing, I think, more than anything."

Jason also told CMT he thought it was really important to address his fans the same day that tmz.com posted pics of him and former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr.

"You can go hide and run from it, or you can get up and face it and deal with it," Jason said.

He dealt with it by posting a statement online: "The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar."

Jason went on to say he left the bar alone.
