Jason to Play in MLB All-Star Week Game

He’ll join Nick Jonas, Jordin Sparks and others.

You know Jason Aldean’s star is rising when he’s playing softball with a Jonas brother, a guy from Glee and baseball greats Mike Piazza and Steve Garvey.

Jason is set to participate in the annual celebrity/baseball greats softball game that’s part of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game festivities every year. He’s holding it down for country music.

Other celebs include Glee star Chord Overstreet, Nick Jonas, 2007 American Idol winner Jordin Sparks (“Battlefield”), that goofy-but-lovable Paul guy from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and softball pitching hottie Jennie Finch.

It’s a five-inning game that happens July 10 in Phoenix, just a few days before the real all-star game.

ESPN will show the celeb softball game July 11 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
