Jason Gives Video Shout-Out to a Little Fan With Cancer

Country star also sends autographed memorabilia, concert tix and backstage passes to the 7-year-old

He's 7, and he loves singing "Big Green Tractor." Tyson Zimmer is battling brain cancer in Lincoln, Neb., and his mom said it would be great if Tyson's favorite country singer, Jason Aldean, would send a video message for her boy.

Jason posted that video Wednesday (April 25).

"I heard you're going through a little bit of a rough time," Jason says.

"I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you being a fan of my music. I'm glad you like it. I hope you feel better soon and, hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet you. . . . I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you."

And then Jason did one better, sending li'l Tyson a bunch of autographed Jason Aldean stuff and a couple of concert tix and backstage passes for a show next month in Illinois.

Lincoln-based radio station Froggy98 is selling $5 "Say—Fight—Cure" wristbands to raise money to help Tyson's family with expenses.
