Jason Aldean Hits Million Mark

Jason Aldean continues his hot streak as his self-titled debut album has been certified for sales of one million copies.

The CD has produced the No. 1 single “Why” along with the Top 10 “Hicktown” and the recent “Amarillo Sky,” which hit the Top 5. “The past 12 months has been a crazy year of firsts,” Jason says. “My first award nominations, first No. 1 single and now my first platinum album. It’s something every new artist dreams about.”
