Jason, Lady A pick up multiple noms.

Thanks to Jason Aldean, The Band Perry and Sugarland, country music was front and center at The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!— Countdown to Music's Biggest Night, a one-hour special broadcast live on CBS from Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

In addition to the concert portion of the show, which found Jason earning a standing ovation for his performance of "Dirt Road Anthem" with guest Ludacris, Sugarland collaborating with Lady Gaga on "You and I," and The Band Perry, which picked up an all-genre Best New Artist nod, turning heads on an "Independence"/"Free Fallin'" mashup, the special highlighted a number of genres.

It also turned the spotlight on country music, acknowledging, among others, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.
