Jana Kramer Returns to the Screen
Looks like Jana Kramer, actress-turned-country singer, is still doing some work in Hollywood despite being one busy recording artist.
Jana, a star of the CW network series One Tree Hill, will be in an independant film called Heart of the Country, about a transplanted Southerner (played by Jana) who returns to her home and family in North Carolina after her Wall Street executive husband is sent to jail.
"Her relationship with her father was kind of strained, so it's kind of a father-daughter story," Jana told CW. "Through that she kind of finds her voice. It's a small movie but I was passionate about it."
