Jake Owen wasn’t barefoot but he did sport some stylish jeans as he performed for the gala opening of the new Nordstrom retail department store in Nashville, Wednesday (Sept. 14). A crowd of nearly 2,000 guests attended and got the chance to preview the high-end store, plus hear a few tunes by Jake, including his recent No. 1 hit, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”
“I’ve never done anything like this before,” Jake told CountryWeekly.com before taking the stage. “It’s something different. I’m flattered that they asked me to do this.”
Guests enjoyed cocktails and a variety of delicious food and desserts as they walked around the store, known for its fashionable lines of shoes, cosmetics and designer wear.
