Jake Owen Overnight Bus Karaoke Ends With Michael Bolton

From football to “La Bamba,” Jake and crew have an interesting night.

Ever wonder what shenanigans happen on a country star's tour bus? Thanks to the magic of Twitter, Jake Owen let fans in on his bus overnight.

Things started out in Colorado with what Jake calls a “weird random late night thought.”

“If you’ve ever ‘done it’ in Denver, Colorado, is that still considered Mile High Club?”

And that’s at the start of the night.

Jake goes on to share a few hours later that he and his gang have been watching football, drinking beer, listening to Grace Potter, telling stories and then, posted around 12:30 this morning (Oct. 10) . . .

“Just sang the shizz out of La Bamba in front lounge of bus with guys. Times like this are awesome. Up Next. Michael Bolton.”

And Jake was not kidding. He even posted a video of him and his band doing “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” complete with iPad piano.

Jake kicks things off by telling the band, “C’mon, Michael it up, dude.”
