Jake Owen Announces Free Concert

Nashville-area fans can also celebrate his fourth No. 1.

To celebrate his fourth No. 1 single, “Anywhere With You,” Jake Owen announced a free performance via Twitter today.

Set for Monday, Aug. 19, at the BMI offices on 10 Music Square East in Nashville, Jake’s billing the bash as a “Summer Block Party,” complete with beer and local food trucks.

It's certainly not an uncommon move for the unpredictable country star, who has been known to take Twitter followers to the movies and for boat rides. Hey, the guy likes to have fun—who can blame him?

For those brave enough to venture into what will surely be a hot and sweaty crowd, remember: Be polite and don't push.

To get primed for Monday's concert, check out Jake giving an upbeat and energetic performance of his new album’s title track, “Days of Gold,” on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon this past Friday.
