Jake Owen and wife Lacey Buchanan Owen are expecting a baby girl in November, Jake's publicist confirms. Jake and Lacey were engaged in April onstage during one of Jake's shows and were married in May in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla.
Lacey appeared in Jake's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" video, released last year.
Jake found out that Lacey was pregnant after he had asked her father for his permission to marry her, Jake's publicist also confirms. Apparently, Jake has known for a long time that he wanted to share his life with Lacey. A year ago, when he introduced Lacey to his mother, Mitzi, he said, "Mom, this is your future daughter-in-law."
Lacey and Jake, who is currently on the road with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney, received the news about the baby's gender when Jake went back to Nashville Monday (July 2) for Lacey's first ultrasound appointment.
