Jake Continues to Celebrate First-Ever No. 1 Song

“Barefoot Blue Jean Night” hit top of country singles charts, a place Jake hasn’t visited before.

What a great week for Jake Owen, who helped present the Country Music Association award nominations on ABC's Good Morning America.

And all the while, Jake continues to celebrate his first-ever No. 1 country song, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

He has been close before—with songs like “Startin’ With Me”—but never quite reached it.

“Wow. Thanks to every fan, songwriter and country radio for giving me my FIRST #1 record. I’m so blessed and thankful. Ahhh! Happy dance!!” Jake tweeted.

Other country artists, including Chris Young, offered congrats. But the most interesting feedback came from Jake’s tour manager, Greg Fowler, who, according to one of Jake’s tweets, said, “Son, ain’t nothing like the first one. Beer, Dog, Big Bass, Woman... Sh-t man. Congrats.”
